What is Section 40 Bingo? It is unlicensed Bingo played by social clubs i.e. British Legion and Holiday Parks and Hotels. The players must be members of that particular club to participate. The maximum amount that can be taken in all by the operator is 60 pence per day, per player (Licensed Bingo has no such limits and any amount can be taken)

Because there is no VAT or Bingo Duty payable Section 40 is not currently controlled by the regulatory authorities and ‘Mistakes’ etc are left unchecked and unaccounted for.
